Growing up, I loved watching TV and movies just as much as any kid. But for me, I wasn't just watching. I felt connected to these worlds I was seeing and hearing through a screen. These stories were REAL. Even if they were fictional, they were real.

I would re-enact all of my favorite scenes from all of these stories, whether it be with my toys or just by myself. So you won't be surprised to hear that I started performing as early as age four.

I will always love performing, but as I was introduced to the whole "behind-the-scenes" experience, I somehow began to feel even more connected to these projects I knew and loved. They showed me it was possible for anyone to do this! So I started to get some experience on sets, and also in post-production.

I learned that the way these things are structured impacts viewers' experiences just as much as the performance of the actors. And once I started putting my own videos together, I couldn't stop!

I believe that in a way, editors are performers too, with the way they tell their stories. And like actors, they learn from their past experience, and use that to perfect their next project.

I've worked on quite a few things during my time at Ithaca College, and now I'm looking to see what I can do to broaden my horizons.
